From Namba or Shinsaibashi Station, take the Midosuji Line (Red Line) heading towards Minoh-Kayano station (please see image below) – this costs about 570-530 yen per person). At Minoh-Kayano station, travellers can opt to either take a taxi, bus or walk to the temple. A taxi ride costs about 3,000 yen on way and takes about 15 minutes. Alternatively, travellers can take the Hankyu Bus 29 or 30 to the temple, which is about a 25-minute bus ride and costs 800 yen.

At the temple

The temple is open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the last entry at 4:30 PM. The entrance fee is ¥500 for adults or ¥100 for children. Visitors can explore the scenic grounds filled with countless Daruma dolls left by worshippers as tokens of gratitude or prayer.
